WoW 2.4 Add-on

World of Warcraft version 2.4 add-ons were recently released, to the excitement of all gamers. These add-ons will help make the game play of this massively popular game more smooth and easy. Most people realize that games do not allow extra programs to help your game play so wouldn’t add-ons be considered illegal or banned from games? Not really, the add-ons for World of Warcraft aren’t like a cheat program or something else that will give a player an advantage to others.

Add-ons are special programs that mostly are a shortcut like right clicking someone would invite them to your party instead of the normal way. Or sometimes more helpful things like auto-party accept. Another useful example of a World of Warcraft add-on is the ClearFont2. This replaces the font used in the game with a different font. As you may figure out this makes the game play a lot easier since it makes it easier for a person to read what’s going on in the game. Also most add-on have an option menu, for example the ClearFont2’s option menu lets you choose what font to use.

These programs are made to help the player get more used to the game environment. They are no hacks or bots that will make a player have a bigger advantage in the massive popular online game known as world of warcraft. New add-ons are released almost every version that World of Warcraft updates. There are thousands of Add-ons for World of Warcraft version 2.4 that have different functions each. Some of these functions can be as easy as saving a few seconds while inviting someone to party to as complicated as a written command that starts the add-on and have multiple functions.

Now since each add-on normally only have one function and only in some rare cases they will have more than one function. This requires a lot of different add-ons to make the game very smooth and easy for a beginner. Even though sometimes people can mistaken an add-on to be illegal or not fair to others. They are mainly made to help new players get used to the game environment and to keep it fair for them when playing with more experienced players. Most add-ons save a lot of time on the long run if used properly. It still takes time to actually get used to the add-on but after a player has become comfortable with his/her new add-ons the game play for them will become a lot easier.

Now there are thousands of different add-ons with the same functions. One must find an add-on that he/she can get comfortable and the add-on should seem to have a function that saves time or makes game play easier. Some of these add-ons have a written command which means that you will have to type a command in your chat window to start the add-on. One example of this is the Visual Heal add-on which requires the player to type “/vh” to see all the options that this one add-on gives.
