Off to the Eastern Plague Lands!

February 2, 2007 – 11:07 amWell, my foray into Western Plaguelands got me to level 59, so I am now on the home stretch to 60! I started some quests that have me killing plage ubats, plague runts, and grubs. This feels an awful lot like grinding, only without the awesome drops 
I do quests so I don’t HAVE to grind, so I get a bit pissy when the quests make me kill 30 of this, 20 of that, get 15 drops from this….
Give me something BIG to kill!
Anyway, it was nice to get the quests to find the doll part. Find a doll part, kill a ghost; find a doll part kill a ghost; find a doll part, kill a ghost. Put doll together, take doll to girl. 2660 xp — not huge, but reasonable for the time it took. Still, no drops from the ghosts. Oh well, I can always go back to Western Plaguelands later and grind the undead there, as they seem to drop some decent enough stuff!
Oh yeah — I managed to find some Blood of Heroes in WPL. It is soulbound to me, I cannot sell it to a vendor, and I have no idea what it is for. I googled it, and it appears to be for alchemy and jewelcrafting. Anyone know what a dwarf hunter with mining and blackmithing might use it for? I would hate to have no reason to keep it, since I died to get it!!
