Having Troubles With Voice After Vista Upgrade? Quick Fix

Computers can be quirky sometimes, and if you recently upgraded your operating system to Windows Vista and are having troubles with your microphone, here is a quick fix!

Locate your World of Warcraft program file, right-click on it, and then click “Properties” on the drop-down menu that would pop up.

From the Properties window, click on the “Compatibility” tab. You’ll see that there’s a checkbox option to run the selected program in Compatibility Mode. Check that, and then you’ll be able to select an OS from the drop-down menu for Vista to run World of Warcraft on. In this case, select Windows XP SP2. Click Apply, then OK.
