I have not played a lot recently, but when I have I have been tryng more PvP action than in the past. This has come in two forms:

1. Attack and defense of Halaa in the Outlands. This has been a lot of fun, and in both cases successful from the standpoint of either defending or taking over. Also, I was able to get a lot of battle tokens to go with my research tokens, and I was able to upgrade my belt. Next are the pants!

2. Arena action, specifically 2v2. I teamed up with a druid, and to put it bluntly, we sucked! I am not sure if this is because we weren’t equipped correctly, specced correctly, or if we simply did not know what we were doing. I suspect it is a combo of these factors, but one thing I noticed is that we did not encounter any other hunters or druids in our fights. Could it be that we simply are not the classes that are made for PvP? Any input would be helpful.

The other thing I did was finish up some quests in Nagrand, mostly team quests. The mastery quests for Hemet Nessingwary, the final quest (ultimate bloodsport), and the final rescue of Corki. These quests obviously would not get me any xp, so why do them? For the gold! Each of those quests got me at least 15 gold, and in some cases up to 24 gold. Plus items in some cases, including a nice new rifle upgrade! On one lazy Sataurday I made almost 200 gold doing quests and mining, and a bit of ogre grinding. And since I have to share my computer with my kid, that was not an all-day thing, either;)
